Flanging: A spinning-type machine bends the dished edge into a weld-ready flange. A flanging roll follows a shaping roll radius while pressure wheels apply force along a set arc.
Configurations: elliptical, torispherical, conical, spherical, and flat-bottom. Cold flanging: up to 40–50mm thickness. Hot flanging: up to 80–100mm. Diameters: under 1m to over 10m.
